Javelot was founded in 2018 by Vindicien Delcourt, a farmer in Pas-De-Calais, and Félix Bonduelle, an agricultural engineer.
Together, they decided to look at a key but under-represented stage in the cereals industry: the post-harvest stage. It has become clear that storage farmers have no effective solutions for controlling the temperature of their cereals, so they are approaching a development studio and the French plant institute, Arvalis.
The goal is simple: to help storage operators by offering a platform that allows them to manage their storage remotely, while optimising their economic and environmental performance.
Today, as well as virtually eliminating the use of insecticides for storage, Javelot offers substantial energy savings thanks to intelligent ventilation control. Javelot is not stopping there, and is currently developing new solutions, including one to optimise the supply chain for cooperatives and storekeepers.
